FAQ
Is eufy Baby Smart Sock safe for my baby?
Yes, eufy Baby Smart Sock is safe for daily use with your baby when used as instructed. The sensor tracks your baby's sleep via light reflections (PPG technology) and baby's movements. The sock uses high-quality fabric that wraps comfortably on your baby's feet. All components of the smart sock are carefully selected and manufactured with quality in mind. We have collaborated with parents like you and engaged in rigorous tests to make sure the sock is safe for all.
Does the device generate any radio emmisions that would harm my baby?
Smart Sock is not harmful to the baby as it has been tested and meets the applicable limits for radio frequency (RF) exposure. The sock connects with the base periodically via Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 (2.4GHz) that has low power output. The base and camera connect to your phone via Wi-Fi like any other Wi-Fi-connected devices in your room.
Will Smart Sock cause a choking hazard to my baby?
Smart Sock is safe for your baby and meets the safety standards. As a precaution, keep the sock sensor away from your baby's mouth.
How many sock sizes are included in the box?
Smart Sock comes in 3 sizes that fit most children up to 18 months old or weigh up to 30 lb. All sizes are symmetrical and can be worn on either foot.
How does Smart Sock track my baby's sleep?
Our sleep algorithm detects the baby's current sleep state based on movements and heart rate. You can use the sock to track daytime naps and nighttime sleep. External activities will affect sleep detection, such as sleeping in a moving stroller, in a car, in a moving bassinet, or being carried in your arms. The sleep detection algorithm best suits a baby sleeping in a bed/crib.
Do I need to pay extra to access video clips or sleep data like other smart baby monitors?
No monthly subscription fee or long-term contract is required. You can access your baby's sleep data, history, and reports at zero cost.
